  1. Thanks Ben. Assuming you haven’t listened to the back catalog yet, you are gonna have a blast as more shows are from Vangroovy than anywhere else – toking in the alleys and clubs and such and spieling about social issues – should give you a good west coast flashback. Also shows from San Fran, London, Austin Texas for SXSW and so on.

    Heading out to get a buzz on and record myself voting (for the Greens natch) today and then will fill out my USA absentee ballot (i am dual citizen). Stay tuned for that one – my production flow is a bit slow as i just had an emergency appendectomy but getting back in action.

    Stoked that you picked up on the conversational style and you’ll find a variety of characters in each episode – usually people i meet while traveling or characters from the neighbourhod.

  2. I don’t really know how i stumbled across this podcast? I was sitting at my desk, high above midtown. Checking out some tunes on Seeqpod.com. I live in Greenwich village and was wondering if there were any songs named after the locale. I stumbled across a podcast.

    It was as if a couple of my friends and I had recorded a conversation on a sunny Sunday afternoon.

    Im a 24 year old who moved to New York from North Vancouver BC. Word for word, topic to topic its the same conversations my friends and i have had so many times back home. Drop me an email if you boys happen to be enjoying some “Al Green” on the roof again.
