Joined by Trauben the hitchhiking acupuncturist (who toils to understand a Welsh miner’s lantern), the lads chat about flowing chi, Cascade mountain lookouts (NY Times article) the author as a young writer and attempt to communicate with racoons – possibly bearing gifts.
