Just a relaxed little rummage through the archives with an off-center camera—flipping through odds and ends in my ephemera stash. In this one, you’ll spot a postcard of the Palau–Japan Friendship Bridge, a stamp of a Frederick Varley painting (yes, the Group of Seven fellow) and his lover Vera Weatherbie, and a few aerogrammes from Monaco, tucked in with some well-traveled passports, ID documents and other similar items.
Nothing too fancy—just me, a desk, a camera, and a shoebox of stories while listening to Courtney Barnett’s “Sometimes i Sit and Think and Sometimes i Just Sit” in my historic kura barn studio in a forgotten corner of Japan.
