Various handmade “pictograms” from from watercolour notebook paper and various foreign postage stamps and inky stamps – mostly made in Newfoundland and Labrador, though some in Nova Scotia whilst i was rambling Maritime Canada seeking a home (which i did not find).
Snapped with Lomo La Sardina (sardine can) camera – some pics by Jamielee Eldridge – of my old VW bus (dubbed “The Earthship”) which is now a bus sauna at Mangy Moose Lodge in Big Cottonwood Canyon, Utah. Pics stuck to watercoloured paper, annotated or otherwise embellished and mailed to folks.
The most remote place on Earth i’ve visited – i do believe – is Bechyal – a village on Maap, in the state of Yap, Federated States of Micronesia – Population of about ten (well slightly more but how’s one to count). How about you?
Note: This is outside of the village — I am the one on the right and holding a gifted turtle shell i could not bring across borders without breaking international treaties. Note, hemp shorts. Circa 1996.
