new book: my next poetry chapbook is underway – recto & verso hand-crafted and as *close to finished* as I ever get
(note: the previous was the Misasa Sojourn which I took as an example along with Ichiro’s fifth birthday zine – both of those are documented elsewhere in this archive)
this time: double-sided, eight-panel, A3 mix of poems, paper craft & Lomo photos ~ all exposed (literally and metaphorically) through faultlines in a time of destruction and reinvention at a place which might become clear between the lines if you score one of the limited edition creations
printshop: and using version for building a relationship with a magical old school meets new school printer with café, gallery, handmade goods and great vibes in historic ceramic town of Bizen called Bitokko (also home town of World Series MVP Yamamoto, he’s the other guy that’s not the guy in all the ads)
to the shop: thank you for welcoming me and my unique projects with kindness and professionalism, I hope we can make many things – from letter press to offset and points in between – with delicious tactile paper, matcha, and significant dose of whimsy and enjoyment
