Getting chilly here in the Misasa village, down to -5 with bits of slushy snow – not the big dumps that are experiencing other places in Japan or my pals on the wet coast of Canada – but anyway, the white just makes the temples, torii, shrines, shacks and statues look all pika pika pretty
But don’t worry about your pal, I’ve got on woolen long underwear, cozy pajamas and a velour smoking jacket in my little tatami room – with two hot baths and a hot ondol room just down the hall
