I’m pretty sure I had something clever and new to say about this batch of postcards but basically it’s the same as always: various countries, cities, friends I know, correspondents I don’t… Some postcards are my originals, others are “vintage“ selected for various insider nuance and amusement.
There was a staff rotation and Shinigoze post office which kind of messed up my whole routine where they automatically know that I want the cutest stamps and will have all kinds of strange requests and not normal postage items. Nevertheless, we persevered.
Unfortunately, no ¥70 stamps on site (the rate for international postcards) so I had to squeeze ¥63 and a ¥7 on back of each, kind of messing up my whole design layout but that might distract from my struggling handwriting as I seem to really be limited in fine motor skills.
Wait, I feel like I’ve explained all of this before, did I already post this? I’m so confused
Anyway I should give a hashmark #postcards because that’s gonna make this more interesting.
