A friendly cheese ball pose from the bus stop as a time marker for heading to the hospital
{totally spaced appointment last Friday, wifu called yesterday, they got me back in today!}
thank you “Okayama University Hospital” (OkaDai) *special* chronic infectious disease clinic
And hooray scarf season!
PS While waiting for the bus, a young lady offered to share her umbrella with me, how kind
Oh, importantly, I’m out and about without a cast or brace on my foot by myself for the first time since the accident 2 1/2 months ago #WalkingStick #Timberland
Amazed by this hospital: off the bus, into a tidy restroom, temperature check, hand sanitize, into admin desk, C19 questionnaire, apologized for missing last week “no problem we understand” (overheard them saying “Kawaii” cause i am-ish ;))
All in less than 5 minutes, now Dr
30 minute wide ranging talk and examination by the doctor (he’s a “fully qualified MD” and also a specialist in traditional Chinese medicine, Kanpo) so, he inspects my pulses, tongue and abdomen very thoroughly
Now waiting for cocktail injection push
next visit already scheduled, then check out (pay by app), drop ‘scrips (by QR code) at pharmacy, and lunch at cozy kissaten
then back on bus, home to prepare bath, tea, rice and soup for darlings

Hit the wall doing payment, system has changed, machines now “assisting” // ¥520 for all of that – yet still, wiped me out, >> checkpoint to pharmacy with sweet lady, Ryoko will pick up around 6 >> lovely lunch kind host, i need hot tea before back on the bus #MECFS
