Since the borders reopened, we’ve gratefully welcomed 35+ travelers and groups of various sizes to our beloved, underappreciated home city & prefecture of Okayama — with wonderful folks staying at the cottage for a night, a month, or over for hangs with records, meals & convos.
This year, with Ryoko’s master arborist exam ahead and Dave’s doctors enacting a slow down plan, we’re taking time to dig into nature, jump into seas, and ramble towards mentors, hermits & wizards across this archipelago (especially after last summer’s busted foot and caboose construction upended our plans).
