This scrapbook is rather special for me as was made from a silk-screen of an old barn my dear late Mother made while a student at Utah Technical Collage (Orem) around 1987, including her lovely handwriting identifying the barn and print-run number.
I combined with a boardgame backer (its was foldable so I added a crutch to support) and filled with various colourful paperstock for the block, then decorated with a few odds and ends of metaphorical photos from my “Fck Stats, Make Art” project and other Chinese New Year’s “joss” papers.
When Mom died, I filled this scrapjournal with various items collected on the manic trip from India to Utah to attend to her body and ceremony, including the orange scraps of paper from India added to the front cover, as well as items like her obituary i wrote the the local newspaper and other related artifacts.
