Friday, Sept 23: Equinox day walk up to the ancestral graves for cleaning, incense and fresh flowers… as is tradition. We tended to several generations in Tsuchida, Okayama.
Note we are wearing our “family tie-dye tartan” made by brother Dan (wiped me out so back home to rest fckn #mecfs :()
Later (Saturday): currently deep in crash mode :( this illness is such a trickster //
When the ache nears
the break and
light becomes a haze
your soul is so faded,
no hiding, so worn
The alchemists confer
and deny the hypnotists’
clinical opinions.
Retorting, “He simply needs
more magnesium
injected into his bones”

Super frustrated because you know that feeling where you have a couple of days where you feel “half decent” and then you think I can do all these things and then the door slams again and then you remember how tough it is. I just want to say “I’m so sorry” to everyone (Even though it’s not my fault in anyway)
I had a decent week and got things done and then have crashed again hard – I think the roller coaster of the typhoon air pressure and whatever has completely wiped me out. In bed all day today in the dark with crushing headache. Back to the University Hospital on Thursday.
Later later (Sunday AM): Really appreciate your kind words, got some sleep last night and the air pressure changed for the better so I was able to get up and about today. It’s really tough when I’m deep in it… There’s so much “life to be doing” no fun to be stuck in bed :(
