Made a solid start on the list with a coffee after medical treatment today… Divided into a few categories and quickly ended up with well, more than 100 items with more on my mind, a very pleasant exercise (for the most part)
Oddly, i think i’ll keep the contents personal, but who knows… i like to share but sometimes i gotta keep something for myself, right – but though unwise, here’s a few notes from a previous scribble since nobody is looking, right?

This is the kakejiku (掛軸 hanging scroll) from yesterday’s tea ceremony. It reads “buji.” (無事) “Buji” means “nothing bad.” Traditionally when visiting the temple for Hatsumode (初詣) in the New Year, people would not ask for any good luck or blessings, but instead simply that “nothing bad” would happen this year.
