{a series of festive-ish digressions w/ ukulele with many namechecks while i meander through topics from: Lego play, to Uncles in Utah, to seeing ya amidst holiday blues – oh right: calendars, coins and bottled tea accumulation}
While my family picks comically large Hasaku fruit, i ramble along about so many calendars, camper van dioramas with Ichiro, hockey games in St Paul, Uncles in Utah, chit chat with pals, so many 1¥ coins and bottles of mediocre tea,
plus important of kindness as *i know* what feeling distressed during holiday times feels like (from car crashes to worthless loneliness, you are seen xo), plus fiddling away still on New Year cards, oh and the joy of my son’s first custom ink stamp declaring “Made by Ichiro Olson”

Yes, in-laws, wife and son were busy gathering hasaku fruit while i play lousy uke and can’t keep a thought straight but i’m soooo tired and doing my best to be human day to day amongst all the hecticness leading up the NY in Japan – oh my gosh, i live here, pinch

while im here… here’s my spectacular son Ichiro Stanley with his 3rd #lego build in 3 days completed:

Moana’s canoe complete with: pig grooming station; canoe prototyping kiosk; sleeping mats; documentary voyage drawings; various fruits and other bits of flair (500+ pieces)
ok bai cheeeee-hoo
ps the camper van build is rad too with coffee maker, croissant, campfire & bunks – we made a diorama with forest, hotsprings, logs, and dinosaurs
