Just before my Santa Claus gig in the neighborhood in Japan, I put forth a humble request: Send coffee – whole bean, medium dark roast, low acid, high malty rich flavor… Preferably organic and fair trade ☕️
Ya see: Despite most of our food sourced domestically and many imported tasty habits long behind, currency devaluations and fluctuations as they are, the holy Bean has become well, precious so… Please send coffee, also cards, also merry Christmas/Festivus/Hanukkah/Kwanzaa/etc. or none of the above

PS kid you not, posted this video with a plea for coffee, went to be Santa Claus for the neighborhood, and came back and were two luscious bags of JJBean Railtown coffee from Vancouver waiting… It’s a Christmas miracle indeed!
PS Event went awesome! First ever neighborhood Christmas Santa Claus Funtime Was concerned no one would show 40 gift bags were gone, kids arriving by bicycle or with parents, elder folk were a delight – lots of peace signs and banter / Nat King Cole, Diana Krall & Bing Crosby with vibes
Home now with a diligent throat disinfection and now Yuzu bath (slightly before solstice but I think it’s all right) Ichiro said I did “perfect” and held my hand on the way home <3
