Diary: seitai, bento, buses & snaps

For starters: Usual routine, photo evidence, heading for treatment by bus (with my fare card) every fibre in my adorable body fumimg in pain

Me & my bus card

(Always sunny in Okayama) #cardigan

Today’s flowers in the doctor’s office entrance foyer.

A few of my creative endeavors from poetry book to postcards to umeboshi (plus Ryoko’s wreath) on display at the doctor’s office. There are more scattered around here.

A tiny museum

Yes, I’m big on refrigerators, shelves, & in scrapbooks and shoeboxes. Art is a force that gives us meaning.

Afterwards:

Finished treatment, eating a box bento in a park trying to get some fresh air and nature mojo into me.

{Also, running a little lean on the cash flows these days but plenty of food in the fridge and freezer so making smart decisions plus, the secret, dark and calm café nearby I used to love has moved & changed :(}

Just want to curl up and hide away but anyway “I’m trying, right?”

Also included:

  • statue (without a hat)
  • Kojima painting on bank calendar in elevator

Carrying on:

A few scenes on the walk to the bus station – which seems rather unchanged from Showa (1973 greyhound station) with newspaper vending machine & rows of molded seats, except for flat screen TV showing Diet (Parliament) sessions.

more vending machines

{Bus is sorta my space out break too if get before 4:30 ish / clean + good wi-fi… And it’s really good quality Wi-Fi and there’s power outlets at most of the seats. The drivers wear white gloves and drive stick shift through twisty narrow roads and you pay for exactly how many stops you ride. Yes, I’m kind of in love with this bus service.}

Rough ride home, shower, tea, bed.

another place to investigate

Oh, pulled out portable oxygen to test for upcoming outing… #foreshadowing
