Slow Fraser re-entry ~ and such (rambling)

back from #SlowFraser trip, reentry is challenging for me (you too?) so….

i’m trying to not try but i cannot not try cause so much life, yet here are a few tidbits

in the caboose, struggling to sleep, or rest or refresh or whatever, I do an accidental recap in which I meant to just say “we’re back home, everything’s all right, thanks to you wonderful folks and see other folks next time blah blah blah n” yet somehow I ramble on about various activities and highlights and unnecessary apologies and gifts of jam and whiskey and syrup and records and books and pins and hockey jersey and notes and letters and cards and mysteries and stories

& talk about various meet ups and how they get complicated because I didn’t really know where I was going and what I was doing but hey stellar hangs from shipyards to spaceports to pig races to familial reunions as well as some interviews (both as interviewer and interviewee) and made some music, learn some new tricks, got played on the radio, and gave away loads of gifts

Stanley did loads of swimming, joke making, cousin hanging and stage crashing and rock ‘n’ roll rolling And baserunning and I did this talk at Vancouver AI and there’s a video of that now so you should watch it, and I’m so proud of my son and my wife is incredible and she’s actually at working already (Sunday morning, Yep seriously) and some friends have a jazz gig this afternoon and I don’t know if I should just try to zone out in bed or maybe look at letters or maybe start putting things away or just get up and fresh up and go listen to some music and say hello.

I’m so confused and the month ahead is a little intimidating. More than a little intimidating, but I’m practically invincible except when it comes to finding out how to go home, I’m still getting used to that part of life and travelling in so on. So we go on, I’m doing my best, I have more existential conundrums and considerations to discuss but said too much already ~ not at my best but then when again have I ever been?

The answer is never always and forever #Grateful
