A weary-looking gentleman, wearing a handmade green flat cap and a white mask covering nose and mouth but exposing several days stubble on cheeks, shows new spectacles – “Clubman style” with brown tortoise shell design on upper half and gold wire on the bottom half, while seated in front of a rope and mud wall with lighting overhead, at a restaurant specializing in cutlets upon rice.
Noting that the brown tinted lenses in the frames are new but the frames are 25 years old, originally purchased on the island of Guam, Micronesia and stored in various forms throughout the years, now polished and reused.
