Charcoal, Poetry & Postal + topics of varied interest

it’s cardigan season so let’s discuss a bonanza of topics, shall we?

While the industrious senior ladies are cleaning the house, I fire up a machine to tell you about the following items:

several pleasing items

* Ryoko’s charcoal kiln & general resourcefulness

* Kerouac in Kobe video and postal dossiers (and redundant backgrounder)

* Centenarys of Tutankhamen discovery, James Joyce’s Ulysses, plus something about Allen Ginsberg’s Howl obscenity trial

 * Loads of poetry by mail from Ron Whitehead, Jinn Bug, Marc Zegans, Isabella Mori plus the Muriel’s Journey “Fire in the Heart” collection and a mention of advisor/ designer Carol Sill

* Also music from Peter Lemon, and cassettes from Ron Whitehead plus my own recent barrage of burned CDs and mixed cassettes

* Historic Vancouver neon and transit treats from John and Rebecca / hooray Ovaltine! And wondering about of Finch’s café

* The nice lady at the post office and the importance of a “solid franking” stamp

* Upcoming talking on Jason Emde’s “writers read the early shit” and our lovely postcard correspondence

* Update about the specialty ME/cfs medical visits to the university research hospital, new IVs and cocktails and off-label medications

* I moved my website host to one that plants trees and accommodates my “high volume/low bandwidth” needs / here’s an affiliate link: https://www.greengeeks.com/track/u149324

* Oh and all that stuff about Japan is “opening up” and a few tips and logistics for coming to visit and of course, telling you there are more resources including field notes from various museums, outings and cities which specifically *are not* Tokyo, Osaka or Kyoto

Oh yeah, Ichiro’s super cute passport photos in his sailor outfit

Very important agenda

Thank you for always checking in on me and saying kind things when I’m having a hard time because of typhoon air pressure crushing my delicate head
